Hi I am Ale!

I am a passionate yogi who has been teaching, breathing, and being yoga since 1998. I have devoted myself to traveling all over the world to continue my education and discipline. From breathe to ashtanga - from Santa fe, NM to Nepal - Eventually after deep diving into anatomy, physiology, philosophy, and meditation, I found myself in awe of the studies and way into the body brought by the Ashtanga practice. It was 2006 when I met my much revered teacher Rolf Naujokat in Goa, India. The story of how we came across one another carries greatly in my heart, a story I can’t forget and hope to share with those I have the opportunity to share space with. For 12 consecutive years he continues to inspire me. There was a purity and tradition that I was gifted through the teachings of Rolf.

I was later met with the opportunity to grow into new awareness with the profound teachings of Dona Holleman in Milan, Italy. Her teachings guided my practice into my own unique teaching style. Carrying an ability and art of an awakened sense and attention to the body-mind. There is a simplicity I took away from learning alongside her. One of the strongest and truest impressions for me was deeply understanding that we as individuals are the magic we are looking for.

I have studied with a range of highly experienced teachers, yet there is a humbleness, a wholeness that I come home to over and over again - a passion and drive sitting in the seat of my heart and that is the desire to share. To share the gifts I have unraveled, to witness community grow deeper in relationship with self and to master being a breathing living human all together.

There is a reality that we are only here for a brief moment and in coming together through breathe, mindfulness, and discipline we enhance our time by making an inner difference and changing the world one breathe at a time. I feel unique in my approach and look forward to being with you in space, in harmony, and in our humanness.
